San Jose, Calif. - Follow up investigation by patrol officers and robbery detectives led to the identification of suspect Malik Jackson.
On Thursday, July 23, 2020, suspect Jackson was taken into custody by patrol officers and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for Robbery. The second suspect has not been identified or apprehended.

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose Police Department’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance identifying and locating two suspects responsible for the two robberies listed below.
On Sunday, June 28, 2020, at approximately 12:00 PM, a robbery occurred near the intersection of Coyote Road and Scarlett Way in San Jose. The adult male victim was running along Coyote Road when a sedan-type vehicle pulled over and two adult male suspects got out. The suspects approached the victim and a struggle ensued. The victim attempted to defend himself, however, the suspects were able to pull a gold necklace from around the victim's neck and flee the scene.
The second robbery occurred on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at approximately 4:20 PM, in the 500 block of Coyote Road in San Jose. The adult male victim was doing yard work when an adult male suspect approached him on foot. The suspect engaged the victim in conversation before pulling a gold necklace from around his neck. A second male adult suspect was seen “casing” the victim moments before the robbery. Both suspects fled on foot and have not been apprehended.
The suspects are shown in the photos and linked video and are believed to be the same suspects in both robberies.
Suspect #1 is described as an African American male, 18 to 21 years-old, 6'1" tall, 160 to 180 lbs., thin build, wearing a black t-shirt, red sweat pants with either a white tag or emblem under the left front pocket, and purple Nike "Foamposite" shoes.
Suspect#2 is described as an Hispanic male, 18 to 21 years-old, 5'8" tall, 150 lbs., thin build, shoulder length black hair, wearing a grey beanie, black t-shirt, dark blue jeans, black and white Puma shoes, and holding a red bandana.
