On 09/21/20, at approximately 05:09 AM, Officers responded to the area of N. 6th Street and Santa Clara Street for a stabbing incident. When they arrived they located one adult male suffering from at least one stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance; shortly after arriving he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
There are currently no suspects identified or apprehended. The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City's 29th homicide of 2020.
