SJPD Investigating Homicide #2

On January 10th, at approximately 2:29am, Officers responded to the 2300 block of Mammoth Drive on a report of a person shot. When they arrived, they located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was declared deceased at the scene.  

There are currently no suspects identified or apprehended. The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. 

The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin. 

This is the City's 2nd homicide of 2021.
