On January 10, 2021 at approximately 4:39pm, Officers responded to the 400 block of S. White Road to investigate a single vehicle collision. The preliminary investigation revealed the following:
A 1997 Dodge Dakota truck was traveling northbound on S. White Road when the adult male driver appeared to have lost control of the vehicle. The truck side swiped seven parked cars and then swerved off the roadway and collided with the front wall of a vacant residence. The driver was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
This is the 1st fatal traffic collision and 1st victim of 2021.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office after they confirm the victim's identity and notify next of kin.
