SJPD Investigating Homicide #4

On February 9th, 2021 at approximately 2:09 AM, Officers responded to the 1400 block of East Santa Clara Street on a report of a person down. When they arrived, they located an adult male with trauma to his body. The victim was declared deceased at the scene. The cause and manner of death is pending the results of a Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office investigation.

There are currently no suspects identified or apprehended. The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.

The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.

This is the City’s 4th homicide of 2021.
