On February 15th, at approximately 10:07am, a 1991 Honda Accord occupied by an adult male driver and an adult passenger, was traveling eastbound on Story Road when the adult male driver suffered a medical episode and lost control of the vehicle. The 1991 Honda Accord subsequently collided with a 2007 Honda Accord, occupied by an adult female and a 16-year-old female passenger. The 2007 Honda Accord was in the process of turning left onto Via Ferrari when the collision occurred. The adult male driver of the 1991 Honda Accord was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Both occupants of the 2007 Honda Accord were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On February 19th, at approximately 8:35pm the adult male driver of the 1991 Honda Accord succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
This is the 5th Fatal collision for 2021.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office.
