On June 26th, at approximately 9:03 PM, Officers responded to the area of Cray Court and McLaughlin Avenue for a motorcycle versus a vehicle traffic collision. The preliminary investigation revealed the following:
A motorcycle was traveling southbound on McLaughlin Avenue at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway and collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle. In addition, the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet. The adult male motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
This is the 25th fatal traffic collision, and 26th victim of 2021.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office after they confirm the victim’s identity and notify next of kin.
