SJPD Arrests Suspect for Homicide #23

During the investigation Ishihara was identified as the primary suspect in this incident. He was located and arrested on July 11th by patrol Officers.

On July 11th, 2021, at approximately 07:18 AM, Officers responded to the 5000 block of Almaden Expressway on a report of a person stabbed. When they arrived, they located one adult male victim suffering from at least one stab wound. Officers began life saving measures, paramedics arrived shortly thereafter and assisted. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.

The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin. 

This was the City's 23rd homicide of 2021.
