On July 14th, 2021, at approximately 10:50 PM, Officers responded to the area of Foxworthy Avenue and Rubino Circle for a traffic collision involving a motorcycle . The preliminary investigation revealed the following:

An adult male was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed and traveling westbound on Foxworthy Avenue. The motoryclist lost control and collided with a tree in the center median. The victim was tranported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Shortly after arriving he succumbed to his injuires and was pronounced deceased. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. 

This is the 28th fatal traffic collision, and 29th victim of 2021.

The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office after they confirm the victim’s identity and notify next of kin.
