SJPD is Asking for the Public’s Assistance to Identify and Locate Assault Suspect from Hit-and-Run

On 10/15/2021 at approximately 10:30 PM, patrol Officers responded to Summer Court to investigate an assault and hit-and-run collision.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a silver Cadillac Escalade collided with the victim's vehicle near the intersection of Capitol Expressway and Capitol Avenue. The female driver of the Escalade did not stop, and the victim driver and his passenger followed her to the area of Summer Court. They exited vehicles and attempted to exchange information. 

Two male adults known to the female, not associated to the collision, arrived to the scene. The subjects exchanged words with the driver of the vehicle and assaulted him with punches and kicks. Paramedics were summoned and the victim was transported to a local hospital. The victim remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

The driver of the suspect vehicle is a possible Hispanic female adult. The suspects who committed the assault are possible Hispanic male adults.

The suspect vehicle is a 2014-2017 silver four door Cadillac Escalade similar to the stock photo below. 

 

SJPD is requesting the public's assistance with locating the suspects and vehicle from this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Martinez #4117 of the SJPD Assaults Unit at (408) 277-4161.
