On November 2, 2021, at approximately 11:52 PM, Officers responded to the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Graves Avenue to investigate a single vehicle collision. The preliminary investigation revealed the following:
A 1996 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound in Saratoga when it left the roadway colliding with a tree. The driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.
This is the 48th fatal collision and the 49th victim of 2021.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office after they confirm the victim’s identity and notify next of kin.
