On November 27th, 2021 at approximately 10:38 AM, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Almaden Expressway on a report of a possible dead body in a residence. When they arrived, they located an adult male that was declared deceased at the scene. The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office responded to the scene and took custody of the deceased victim.
On December 2nd, 2021, after an autopsy, the Santa Clara County Coroner ruled the death a homicide. The cause and manner of death is pending the results of their investigation.
There are currently no suspects identified or apprehended. The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City’s 31st homicide of 2021.
