On February 8th, 2022, at approximately 3:17 PM, Officers responded to the 1600 block of Tully Road on a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they located one adult male suffering from at least one stab wound. The preliminary investigation revealed that the male was stabbed in the parking lot of the Carl’s Jr. restaurant located on Tully Road; the male drove a short distance after being stabbed and pulled into the Shell gas station located at the intersection of Tully Road and King Road. The male victim collided with another vehicle at the gas station.
Arriving Officers and paramedics provided life saving measures until the victim was transported to a local hospital. The male succumbed to his injury at the hospital and was pronounced deceased.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City's 1st homicide of 2022.
