During the investigation, suspects Disburke, Davidson, Blacksher, and Patel were identified as the primary suspects responsible for this homicide. Suspects Disburke, Blacksher, and Patel were located and arrested in San José on May 4th, 2021. Disburke was charged with homicide; Blacksher and Patel were charged with being an accessory after the fact. All three were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
Suspect Davidson fled San José after the homicide and was actively attempting to avoiding capture. Davidson was located and arrested in Stockton by SJPD's Covert Response Unit (CRU) on February 25th, 2022; he was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for homicide.

On April 24th, 2021, at approximately 11:37 AM, Officers responded to 88 East San Carlos Street on a report of a person shot. When they arrived, they located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was declared deceased at the scene.
There are currently no suspects identified or apprehended. The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City's 14th homicide of 2021.
