On March 1st, 2022, at approximately 6:10 AM, Officers responded to the area South White Road and Cunningham Avenue for a solo vehicle traffic collision. The preliminary investigation revealed the following:
A 2014 Ford F-150 truck, driven by an adult male, was traveling northbound on South White Road in the number one lane just south of Cunningham Avenue. The vehicle left the roadway and veered into the center median of South White Road and collided with a tree.
The solo driver was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. On March 3rd, the male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
This is the 18th fatal collision, and 19th victim of 2022.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office after they confirm the victim’s identity and notify next of kin.
