On March 20th, 2022, at approximately 12:24 PM, Officers responded to the 4800 block of Springdale Drive for a welfare check call. The caller reported that she had killed her mother. When they arrived, they located an adult female at the residence suffering from at least one stab wound. The female was pronounced deceased at the scene. The caller/suspect was still at the residence and was taken into custody without incident.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City's 3rd homicide of 2022.
Suspect Yee was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for homicide.
