SJPD Investigating Homicide #6

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

 

On March 27th, 2022, at approximately 8:11 PM, Officers responded to the intersection of Avenida Grande and Via Romero in San José on a call of a person down. When they arrived, they located an adult male suffering from head trauma. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. On April 8th, 2022, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

During the course of the investigation, suspect Mirador was identified as the primary suspect responsible for the assault. Suspect Mirador was arrested in San José by patrol Officers the night of the incident. Suspect Mirador was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail and has been charged with homicide.

The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.

This is the City's 6th homicide of 2022.
