SJPD Investigating Homicide #10

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

 

On May 16th, 2022, at approximately 3:08 AM, Officers responded to 400 block of South 10th Street on a call of a person shot. The caller reported that she and her boyfriend had been shot. Officers located an adult female and adult male in a residence both suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The female was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening grazing gunshot wound. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

During this investigation, suspect Garrison was identified as the primary suspect responsible for this homicide. The suspect was arrested by Homicide Unit Detectives without incident. Suspect Garrison was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for homicide.

The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.

This is the City's 10th homicide of 2022.
