On May 17th, 2022, at approximately 6:44 PM, Officers responded to the area of South King Road and Hermocilla Way on a call of a person shot. When Officers arrived, they located an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers and arriving paramedics provided life-saving measures. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. The suspect is unidentified and remains at large.
The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City's 11th homicide of 2022.
