On April 2nd, 2022, at approximately 7:16 AM, Officers responded to the 1900 block of Aborn Road on a call of a person down. When they arrived, they located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The adult male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives from the San José Police Department Homicide Unit began an investigation into the incident.

On May 18, 2022, Johnson Nguyen and Henry Nguyen were arrested for the homicide by members of the San José Police Department's Covert Response Unit. Both suspects are currently in custody at the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. The suspect is unidentified and remains at large.

The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.

This is the City's 5th homicide of 2022.
