SJPD Arrests Suspect for Homicide #13

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

 

On June 4th, 2022, at approximately 7:31 PM, Officers responded to the 3800 block of Monterey Road on a call of a person shot. When Officers arrived, they located an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Suspect Thai was located at the scene and was taken into custody by patrol Officers with the assistance of the SJPD Violent Crimes Enforcement Team (VCET). The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.

The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.

This is the City's 13th homicide of 2022.

Suspect Thai was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for homicide.
