MEDIA ADVISORY
On May 31, 2022, patrol officers responded to two separate home invasion robberies in San José. The first incident occurred in the 600 block of North Capitol Avenue at approximately 2:00 PM. Five to six subjects entered a home and stole the residents’ vehicle from their garage.
The second incident occurred in the 1000 block of Summerdale Drive at approximately 4:00 PM. The same suspects, who were driving the vehicle taken during the first incident, arrived at the victim's home and took property.
During the second incident, the victim’s wife returned home in her vehicle, equipped with a forward-facing dash camera. The camera captured the suspects inside her garage and the suspect vehicle. The witness contacted police and the suspects fled the scene. The suspects shown in the linked video are believed to be the same suspects in both robberies.
