The San José Police Department's Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force/Child Exploitation Detail (CED) arrested suspect Ernest Ramirez for multiple charges related to aggravated sexual assaults of a minor.
The investigation revealed suspect Ramirez owned and operated a Martial Arts Studio in San José. Suspect Ramirez also operated an after-school program, transporting students from Trace Elementary to his San José studio. The victim attended the after-school program between August 2020 through June 2021, where the sexual assaults occurred. The victim had since relocated with family out of state when they reported the incidents.
With the assistance of the Ada County Sheriffs Office in Idaho, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for suspect Ramirez. On June 9th, 2022, Ramirez was located and arrested in San José by detectives and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail on four counts of 269(a)(1) PC- rape of a child under 14 years old, and four counts of 269(a)(4) PC- oral copulation upon a person under 14 years of age by means of force or fear.
