In July of 2022, San José Police received a report from a female survivor stating they were sexually assaulted by their massage therapist.
The suspect worked as a massage therapist since 2015 and would perform massages at his home. Sexual Assaults Investigation Unit (SAIU) Detectives conducted follow up and through a comprehensive investigation, identified an additional victim. SAIU Detectives identified the suspect as Antonio Zacariz and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
On March 7th, 2023, the SJPD Metro Unit arrested him at his home in San José without incident.
