On July 14th, 2023, at approximately 10:30 PM, the Western Division midnight patrol team concluded a long-term drug and weapons trafficking investigation with the arrest of two suspects and the service of a search warrant at a residence in the 3000 block of Rubino Drive.

Midnight patrol Officers conducted a thorough and comprehensive investigation in response to observed increase in narcotics and fentanyl activity in their respective police beats. The investigation was spearheaded by District Sam patrol Officers, with the assistance of the San José Police Department METRO unit.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the suspect's residence and vehicles. The search resulted in a seizure of 28,000 Adderall pills, 1,000 M30 Fentanyl pills, 30 pounds of marijuana, 40 grams of cocaine, 3 ounces of methamphetamine, a 9mm privately made firearm (ghost gun), unregistered Glock pistol and Mac-10 firearm, ammunition, and over $12,000 in cash. The seizure has an estimated street value of nearly one million dollars and the above-described street drugs have been associated with numerous overdose deaths.
