On September 19, 2023, at approximately 12:48 PM, Officers responded to the area of Capitol Expressway and Monterey Road for a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located an adult male that had been shot at least once. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No suspects are identified and the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City's 27th homicide of 2023.
