On February 13, 2024 at approximately 4:31 PM, Patrol Officers responded to a local hospital for a report of a stabbing victim who had been dropped off at the emergency room. Despite emergency medical care, the adult male victim succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased. Upon arrival, Officers determined that the stabbing incident had occurred in the area of Spring Street and Taylor Street.
Officers responded to the area of Spring Street and Taylor Street and located a crime scene. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had been in a physical altercation prior to being transported to the hospital.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City's 5th homicide of 2024.
