On February 11, 2024, at approximately 4:50 PM, San José Police Department patrol Officers responded to the area of Lotus Street and Appian Lane for a report of a person shot. When Officers arrived at the scene, they located two adult male victims suffering from a least one gunshot wound each. The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officers were later informed that a third adult male victim, suffering from at least one gunshot wound, self transported to a local hospital as well.

On February 12, 2024, SJPD Gang Investigations Unit and SJPD Assaults Unit Detectives conducted a thorough and comprehensive investigation. Detectives identified suspect David Cisneros and one juvenile suspect responsible for the attempted homicide. Detectives obtained and served search warrants at both suspects' residences. During the search of the juvenile's residence, Detectives recovered a 3D printed loaded handgun.

With the assistance of patrol Officers, both suspects were located and arrested in the city of San José.

Suspect Cisneros was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail and the juvenile suspect was booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall for gang-motivated attempted homicide.
