The San José Police Department recently launched the San Jose's Most Wanted Facebook page and San Jose's Most Wanted Instagram page to assist the Homicide Unit in apprehending dangerous wanted criminals. As part of the Department's ongoing commitment to solving cold cases, SJPD has added new cold case profiles to generate more leads and bring closure to the families.

The San José Police Department Homicide Unit is seeking the public's assistance identifying suspects responsible for two separate cold case homicides that occurred in 2020 and 2018.

On November 20, 2020, at approximately 5:17 PM, SJPD Officers responded to the 2200 block of Orlando Drive for a report of a person shot. The adult male victim was shot multiple times while sitting in his vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The unidentified suspect(s) are believed to have fled the scene in the vehicle pictured below.

This was the City's 39th homicide of 2020.

On December 5, 2018, at approximately 1:02 AM, SJPD Officers responded to the area of East Virginia Street and South 3rd Street for a report of a person shot. The adult male victim sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased. The suspects remain outstanding and unidentified. The following surveillance image is believed to picture the suspects:

This was the City's 25th homicide of 2018.
