The San José Police Department Metro Unit conducted a months-long investigation after developing information regarding narcotics sales. During the investigation, it was discovered a husband and wife pair, identified as suspects Tri Pham and Jenny Pham, was operating a drug house to manufacture, transport, and sell cocaine base (commonly referred to as crack cocaine).
Metro Unit Officers obtained arrest warrants for the two suspects and multiple search warrants for associated residences.
On September 4, 2024, with the assistance of the SJPD MERGE Unit, Covert Response Unit (CRU), Violent Crimes Enforcement Team (VCET), Street Crimes Unit, and Downtown Services Unit (DSU), search warrants were executed at three associated residences located in the 1100 block of Bendmill Way and 100 block of Maro Drive.
During the execution of the search warrants, Officers seized the following:
- Over 37 pounds of cocaine
- 17 pounds of cocaine base "crack"
- 50 Xanax bars
- 6 firearms
- 1 rifle
- 2 vehicles with hidden compartments
- Approximately $120,000 in cash

Investigators determined that the street value of the cocaine seized is roughly $2 million.
Both suspects were arrested in the city of San José and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for crimes related to weapons possession and narcotics transportation and sale.
