SJPD Arrests Two Human Traffickers During Operation

After receiving multiple community tips, the San José Police Department Human Trafficking Task Force (HTTF) conducted a month long investigation that led to the arrest of two suspects for operating a residential brothel in the city of San José.

On September 11, 2024, the SJPD HTTF, in collaboration with multiple SJPD specialized units, executed a search warrant at the suspected residential brothel located at the 2700 block of McKee Road in San José.

During the execution of the search warrant, two adult female human trafficking survivors were located and provided resources.

Suspect Yang and suspect Juan were arrested in the city of San José and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for human trafficking.

This operation was made possible with the assistance of the SJPD Downtown Services Unit, METRO, Street Crimes Unit, 290 Team, and SJPD Patrol Officers.
