Responding to multiple community tips, the San José Police Department Human Trafficking Task Force (HTTF) conducted a month long investigation that led to the arrest of a suspect who was operating a residential brothel in the city of San José.
On December 20, 2024, the SJPD HTTF, in collaboration with multiple SJPD specialized units, executed a search warrant at the suspected residential brothel located in the 80 block of S. 24th Street in San José.
During the execution of the search warrant, two adult female human trafficking survivors were located and provided resources. Detectives seized approximately 10,000 dollars in cash.

Suspect Wang was arrested in the city of San José and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for pimping and pandering.
This operation was made possible with the assistance of the SJPD Violent Crimes Enforcement Team, SJPD Patrol Officers, the Diplomatic Security Service for the U.S. Department of State, and the Santa Clara County Law Enforcement Investigating Human Trafficking (LEIHT) Task Force.
