Solari Surveillance

On March 9, 2025, at approximately 8:45 PM, San José Police Department Patrol Officers responded to the 3500 block of Cas Drive for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shooting but did not locate any of the involved parties. Shortly after, an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound was dropped off at a local hospital. Despite life savings efforts by medical staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The San José Police Department Homicide Unit responded to the scene to investigate the incident. While the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, Detectives have determined the incident to be gang-motivated. The shooting is believed to have occurred in or near Solari Park, an area that has seen increased activity involving individuals associated with the criminal street gang known as the 'Seven Trees Crips.'

As part of the ongoing investigation, Detectives obtained the surveillance image pictured above, which shows a vehicle of interest believed to have interacted with the victim shortly before the homicide. The vehicle is described as a newer white Honda Accord Sport with tinted windows.
