On January 8, 2025 at approximately 1:20 PM, San José Police Department Patrol Officers responded to the 100 block of Graham Avenue for a report of a strong armed robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed the adult male victim was outside on a sidewalk when two vehicles pulled up. Multiple male suspects exited the vehicles and physically assaulted the victim until he lost consciousness. During the incident, the suspects made gang-related comments toward the victim. The suspects took items from the victim and fled the scene prior to police arrival.

SJPD Gang Investigations Unit Detectives began an extensive investigation and identified four primary suspects who are all documented gang members: Carlos Robledo, Jose Rivera, Manuel Rios, and a 15-year-old juvenile male suspect. Detectives obtained arrest warrants for all suspects and search warrants for their associated residences.

On July 16, 2025, all four suspects were located and apprehended in the city of San José. During the execution of the search warrants, Detectives located gang indicia, a firearm, and multiple rounds of live ammunition.

The adult suspects were booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail, and the juvenile suspect was booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall. All suspects were booked for crimes related to gang-related robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
