***UPDATE*** SJPD Arrests Outstanding Suspect for Homicide #6

On April 1, 2025, at approximately 3:57 AM, San José Police Department Patrol Officers responded to a residence in the 90 block of Sunset Court for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they located an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Medical personnel responded to the scene and attempted life saving measures. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The unidentified suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

SJPD Homicide Unit Detectives immediately began a thorough investigation and identified five suspects: Lawrence Eti, Rodolfo Lopez Pinon, Irma Ordonez, Michael Tran, and Kevin Le. All suspects except Suspect Le, were arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail. Suspect Le remained outstanding.

After seeking the public's assistance on social media, Detectives received a tip that Suspect Le was in the state of Colorado.

In a coordinated effort with the U.S. Marshals Service, on August 11, 2025, the U.S. Marshals Service located and arrested Suspect Le in the state of Colorado. Kevin Le will soon be extradited back to the city of San José where he will be booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for murder.
