SJPD Seeks Public Assistance Identifying Sexual Assault Suspect

MEDIA ADVISORY 

On December, 11, 2024, at approximately 5:23 PM, an assault with intent to commit a felony sex crime was reported in the area of Vonna Court and Alcazar Drive in the city of San José. The victim was working as a courier for a global delivery services company when she arrived in the area for a delivery in the company truck. The victim returned to her truck after completing a delivery at a nearby address, when an unidentified male suspect rushed into the truck and physically assaulted her. The suspect pictured above, moved the victim to the rear cargo portion of the truck and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim fought back and screamed for help. The suspect then exited the truck and fled the area. Portions of the incident were captured on surveillance cameras. The suspect is believed to have been walking in the area at the time of the incident. The suspect has not been identified and is currently at large. 

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, in his 20 to early 30's. He is believed to be approximately 5'10" with a skinny to medium build.

Detectives have exhausted all leads and are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect pictured above.
