SJPD Seeks Public's Assistance

San José Police Department Assaults Unit Detectives are seeking the public's assistance identifying a suspect responsible for vandalizing a Tesla vehicle. The incident occurred on August 12, 2025, at approximately 5:47 p.m., SJPD received an online report of a unknown suspect pouring an unknown substance on a Tesla that was parked in the parking lot of an elementary school located in the 800 block of Steinbeck Drive. The unoccupied vehicle recorded an unidentified adult male suspect approaching and pouring an unknown substance from a container on top of the vehicle. The substance caused significant damage to the vehicle.

Detectives are seeking any information that could assist in identifying the suspect pictured below.
