The San José Police Department Gang Investigations Unit has arrested two juvenile male suspects responsible for a gang-related vandalism string that spanned from March 2025 through July 2025. The vandalism was found in various locations throughout the city of San José, including Los Paseos Park and Ramac Park, causing over $10,000 in damage to city properties. Many of these vandalisms were reported via the City of San José's 3-1-1 online application.

During the investigation, GIU Detectives identified a 16-year-old male suspect and a 17-year-old male suspect, both of whom were known active gang members on juvenile probation for firearm and vandalism-related charges. Detectives obtained arrest warrants for both suspects.
On September 12, 2025, Officers with the SJPD Violent Crime Enforcement Team (VCET) located and arrested both juvenile male suspects in the city of San José. One of the suspects was in possession of a concealed firearm at the time of the arrest. The suspects were booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall for the gang-related vandalism, probation violation, and various firearm-related charges. Both suspects are currently not in custody.
