On September 16, 2025, the San José Police Department’s Human Trafficking Task Force arrested one suspect for pandering as part of an enforcement operation that targeted an illicit massage parlor in San José.
SJPD Human Trafficking Task Force Detectives conducted an investigation into a business operating out of a commercial plaza in the 1500 block of Oakland Road. Detectives obtained a search warrant and with the assistance of the Special Operations Division and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, executed the search warrant at the business. During the execution of the search warrant, three adult female survivors were contacted on site and provided with resources.
Detectives identified 34 year old San Francisco resident, Yueying Chen, as the suspect responsible for pandering and was taken into custody without incident. Additionally, four adult male subjects were arrested for soliciting prostitution.

Suspect Chen was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for pandering. Evidence collected at the scene will aid in the ongoing investigation.
