On October 31, 2025, at approximately 10:14 AM, San José Police Department Patrol Officers responded to a residential burglary in west San José. The reporting party witnessed two suspects force entry into the garage of the residence and take various items. The suspects fled the scene in an occupied vehicle prior to police arrival.

Responding Patrol Officers utilized Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) cameras to identify, locate and track the suspect vehicle. Officers eventually located the vehicle at a residence in the 100 block of Muirfield Drive and conducted a vehicle enforcement stop. Officers took three suspects into custody: Juan Montano, Ana Serrano, and Marisol Hernandez-Alvarez.

Search warrants were obtained for the vehicle as well as the associated suspect residence. During the execution of the search warrant, Officers located a stolen rifle, a privately made firearm, stolen property from the residential burglary, in addition to evidence related to various burglaries.

Suspects Montano, Serrano, and Hernandez-Alvarez were booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for burglary.

Two additional suspects who reside at the residence were also taken into custody and arrested: Diego Roque-Arellano and Jesus Luvio-Roque. Both suspects were booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for possession of stolen property and firearm-related crimes.
